Hardware Design
As faithful readers know I’m about to get married and so we’ve been receiving wedding gifts here at home.
We got the Pot Rack that we really wanted (if that’s not a sign that I’m officially old, I don’t know what is.) Anyway the best spot for it was over the island in the kitchen but unfortunately there was a big fluorescent light occupying that exact spot.
Since I knew there was going to be some creative carpentry involved, I broke out the old sketch pad and iterated a few different mounting ideas. Thanks MassArt! The final design included a stepped profile and some cool downlights to highlight our pots and pans.
