Cell Phones and ownership
Im currently upgrading my phone for 2 reasons:
1) The interface is too slow to respond to my commands. I swear this thing is slowing down on purpose to make me upgrade.
2) I have exhausted the selection of ring tones, and they all make me cringe when they go off.
So i’ve settled on a Motorola v330 from T-mobile. It’s just arrived and I’m powering it up right now.
This brings me to the point of my posting, my old phone a Sony Ericcson T68i has a bluetooth connection and I’ve been happily using it to control my PC and media systems here at home. When I pull the SIM card out though it becomes little more than a paper weight. Don’t I own this piece of electronics?
Why can’t I continue to use my phones other non-phone features?
Oh by the way I’m using a really cool program called Floats Mobile agent that allows me nearly complete PC control from a Sony Ericcson phone.
